On the one year anniverssary of Yandy's passing, the City of Hollywood, in honor of his memory, dedicated the Officer Yandy Chirino Playground at Mara Berman Giulianti Park. A bronze plaque with a mold of Officer Charino’s hand was unveiled with an interactive memorial where residents can scan a QR code to learn more about the life and legacy of Officer Chirino.
